With a new line up of musicians, all graduates of the world famous Leeds College of Music, The Cherie Gears Band is having a sensational impact on the UK wedding, private party and corporate events market.
Cherie has made a name for herself over the past few years as one of Britain's finest vocalists, totally at home no matter the style, whether it's Pop, Soul, Jazz, Motown, Reggae... the list could go on!
Among many prestigious venues, Cherie has performed at the Royal Festival, Queen Elizabeth and Royal Albert Hall, London, Queens College, Oxford and The NEC, Birmingham. She has appeared on The South Bank Show and Songs Of Praise and was privileged to perform for Rowan Atkinson's 50th Birthday Party in January 2005 in front of a star studded audience.
This band can be booked for weddings, private parties and corporate events and guarantee to have everyone in the room up and dancing. Their repertoire includes an infectious list of classic motown, soul, pop and dance numbers ranging from the 60s to present day. They are also always happy to learn any tune as a special request, whether it be the Bride and Groom's first dance at their wedding reception or the birthday boy's favourite 70's classic!

We want to keep everything as simple as possible so here we go…

What do I get?

Our standard package includes:
Either 2 x 50 minute sets or 3 x 40 minute sets of awesome live music PA and all band equipment
Travel and any other expenses
Any song of your choice learnt especially for you for the first dance

Do I need a DJ?

We will happily provide music through the PA before the band play and during the band's break at no additional charge, just let us know when booking. You may wish to hire a DJ separately if you want the party to go on late into the night. Please ask about this.

Will you send me a CD or can I see the band live?

To keep costs down we do not send demo CDs out. You can listen to the band on this page and watch the videos. This band performs predominantly at weddings and corporate events which are strictly private but occasionally perform at Leed's top venues like The Wardrobe and The Hi-Fi, please ask for dates. The videos on this page are totally live and provide a genuine depiction of this fantastic band in action.

How do I book?

We ask for a deposit of 15% either as a cheque payable to G-Sounds or as BACS transfer.

The final balance is due in full 2 weeks before the event and can be either payable to G-Sounds or direct to the band. We will let you know about this closer to the time.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, the band is covered by £5 million Public Liability Insurance and all equipment is PAT tested.

Please e-mail info@gsounds.co.uk with details of your event including date, location and approximate start time if known. It is very important that you check your junk mail as we respond to all enquiries within 24 hours, usually quicker, so if you don't get a reply it's probably in the trash!

If you have requirements that fall outside our standard packages please don't hesitate to ask.
