Cherie Gears, a Leeds based singer has at the tender age of 24 sung at over 500 parties, corporate events and weddings. She has performed at The Royal Albert Hall and The NEC Birmingham among many prestigious venues and has also been featured on The South Bank Show, Songs of Praise and a number of other BBC TV and Radio shows. She is currently working on the pilot of a new show hosted by Alan Carr after being approached by Channel 4.

The Cherie Gears Band also perform as LazyBaby and can be seen regularly at top venues throughout Leeds including The Wardrobe, Quarry Lane, Leeds and The Hi Fi in central Leeds.

There are several videos of the band, all 100% live recorded with a static camera at parties and weddings - sometimes the guests get in the way but we can't blame them for dancing!

What do I get if I hire the band?

Our standard package includes:
2 x 50 minute sets of awesome live party and wedding music, PA and all band equipment
Travel to your wedding or party (free in Leeds and Yorkshire) and any other expenses
Any song of your choice learnt especially for the wedding first dance or special party band song

Do I need a DJ?

We now offer a disco package with a 15000 song playlist professionally mixed on laptop, including full professional disco lighting saving your around £250 if you were to hire a DJ separately. Please enquire about this when booking.

Will you send me a CD or can I see the band live?

We believe our videos offer a far better depiction of the band than studio recorded audio so don't send out CDs. All videos are freely viewable on the website. This party band perform predominantly at weddings, parties and corporate events which are strictly private but occasionally perform at Leed's top venues like The Wardrobe and The Hi-Fi, please ask for dates.

How do I book?

We ask for a deposit as a cheque payable to G-Sounds or as bank transfer. We will draw up a contract that protects your booking against cancellation.

The final balance is due in full 2 weeks before the event and can be either payable to G-Sounds or direct to the band. We will let you know about this closer to the time.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, the band is covered by £5 million Public Liability Insurance and all equipment is PAT tested.
